ViSE
Voices in Software Engineering is an effort led by the Society in conjunction with the Department of Software Engineering at RIT. The goal is to bring exciting and influential leaders in the field of Software Engineering to RIT in order to engage with students and to promote academic and industrial progress in the field.

ViSE is the Society of Software Engineers' lecture and aspiring-conference series. We invite experts in the software engineering field to come to the SSE for a day to speak and interact not only with software engineering students but students from all computer related disciplines. The lectures are free and open to all, and select students are invited to enjoy the day with the speaker, personally discussing issues in software engineering.
We encourage all students and faculty interested in software engineering to attend these lectures. The topics are designed to be interesting and influential, and to expand your horizons in software engineering. The lectures are also a great opportunity to meet prominent people in the field and learn from their experience.
ViSE was created to connect industry and academic professionals to local students, faculty, alumni and other intersted people. This connection can help both those who attend the lectures and the field of software engineering as a whole, by fostering a cooperative environment where discussion can take place.
