The Secrets of Scrum Success

Scrum is the Agile method of choice in the IT industry worldwide. When implemented with deep understanding and discipline, it can result in unprecedented improvements in software development productivity and quality. Why does the Scrum process framework work so well, what are the important things to be aware of when adopting it, and what are the dangers and weaknesses that should be avoided? This talk will briefly explore the foundations of Scrum from the perspective of Lean Software Development, then move on to visit the major touch points of the methodology and explain how they contribute to improved software development.
