Thursday Night Tech Talk #3: Cocoa Fundamentals

by Tom Rudick last modified Jan 21, 2009 12:48 AM

On Mac OS X, modern GUI applications are written in Objective-C using the Cocoa frameworks. Learn the basics of Objective-C, a C-based language that inherits many features from Smalltalk. Then, learn the design patterns that make the Cocoa frameworks so powerful. You'll also see a short demo showing how to create a simple application with (almost!) no code. Presented by Devin Lane.
