ViSE Presents Bjarne Stroustrup
Bjarne Stroustrup designed and implemented C++ as well as wrote The C++ Programming Language, which is considered by many to be the definitive text of the language. Using C++, Stroustrup has pioneered the use of objected-oriented and generic programming techniques in application where efficiency is at a premium. Stroustrup now serves as the College of Engineering Chair in Computer Science Professor at Texas A&M University. Currently, Stroustrup has been working on a new book, Programming: Principles and Practice Using C++, due out this December. Additionally, he has also planning a new C++ standard currently unofficially named C++0x.
